Scrypa Patho
Research & evidence.
In pathology, dictation has always been the natural way to capture findings, at the cut-up table as at the microscope. The open question is not whether speech is used but how quickly the spoken word arrives, structured and audit-proof, in the laboratory information system. Scrypa Patho replaces the classic dictation loop with directly structured capture.
Grounded in laboratory medicine
Tumour nomenclature, grading, TNM and immunohistochemical findings are modelled so that diagnoses can be handed over coded according to standard nomenclature such as SNOMED CT and ICD-O. Generic speech recognition fails on this terminology; Scrypa Patho is built for it.
Clinically accompanied
We develop the terminology together with pathologists and lab technicians from institutes and laboratories. In pilot programmes we examine gross, microscopy, frozen section and sign-out for whether the structured fields are transferred cleanly and verifiably into the existing LIS.
Measurable across the reporting workflow
We measure the typing time saved per report, the turnaround time at the institute and the correct recognition of terminology. The goal is a shorter dictation loop without the detour via the transcriptionist, transparently measured in live reporting operations.
